Farming is one of the earliest and most important of all human professions, as it allowed mankind to stop making nomadic migrations and settle in one location without depleting the local resources. Throughout the ages, many improvements have been made in farming techniques, such as irrigation, crop rotation, and more recently fertilizers and farming machinery have caused the production output to skyrocket.
